By signing, you are stating that you have read, understand, and are willing to meet the “Art Room Student Conduct Expectations.” Not meeting the conduct expectations will result in disciplinary actions in accordance with the Student Handbook. Safety Expectations must be met to allow participation in studio activities. The original of this form with be saved for teacher recorded and a copy will be given to the student for reference.
Be Respectful
- Address staff and peers with a respectful attitude.
- Touch only your own artwork: this removes the possibilities of accidents.
- Clean all work space, materials, and tools prior to leaving class.
- Classroom cabinets, closets, phone, and teacher desk are off-limits for students unless specifically instructed by the teacher.
Be Responsible
- Use studio / work time effectively: there is currently no after-school open studio times which means every effort must be made to complete work in class.
- Working in the art classroom without the teacher present is prohibited.
- Art materials stay in the classroom.
- Individual use of electronics and headphones are not permitted.
Be Safe
- Follow all safety instructions pertaining to materials and tools without exception.
- Sitting on countertops or tables is not permitted.
- Use all materials and tools how the teacher instructs.
- Mischievous behaviors, pranks, throwing items, and any actions which cause a reduction of safety are prohibited.
